MIA 4×5 modular

A large format camera with room to experiment.

This modular 4×5 pinhole camera is designed to produce images in 4×5 format, with very little — if any — vignetting, depending on the cone used.

It is compatible with most standard 4×5 film holders on the market, making it a practical starting point for large format pinhole work without overcomplicating the process.

The camera comes with one cone of your choice, plus a cover/shutter fitted with the pinhole plate for that cone. If you would like a different focal length, just let me know and we can discuss the best option for your setup.

The magnetic shutter keeps the camera simple and direct to use, while the side-mounted cold shoe gives you space for a viewfinder or other accessories. A step-up ring allows the use of 72 mm circular filters, giving you more freedom to experiment with contrast, colour, long exposures, or whatever else you want to throw at it.

This is a camera for slow photography, handmade experiments, and proper large format fun.
