Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 11.06.2026
Welcome to MIA Pinhole Cameras.
These Terms and Conditions apply when you visit this website or buy products from MIA Pinhole Cameras. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Please read them carefully before ordering.
1. Business details
This website is operated by:
MIA Pinhole Cameras
Email: andrea@miapinhole.com
Address: 1 Morello Close, OX278at, Bicester, Oxfordshire
Website: www.miapinhole.com
If you have any questions about an order, product, delivery, return, or these terms, please contact me by email.
2. Products
MIA Pinhole Cameras designs and sells handmade pinhole cameras, accessories, adapters, and related photography items.
I do my best to describe every product clearly and accurately. Because many products are handmade, small variations may occur. These variations are part of the handmade process and do not usually affect the function of the product.
Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting, material batch, or production method.
3. Handmade, custom and made-to-order products
Some products may be handmade, made to order, customised, or produced in a colour or configuration chosen by the customer.
Custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order items cannot usually be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you are unsure whether your order is considered custom-made or made to order, please contact me before placing the order.
4. Prices
All prices are shown on the website in the currency displayed at checkout.
Prices may change at any time, but this will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you place your order.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, taxes, handling fees, or other charges applied by their country.
5. Payments
Payment methods available are shown at checkout.
Orders are processed only after payment has been received.
If a payment fails, is reversed, or is suspected to be fraudulent, I reserve the right to cancel the order.
6. Order acceptance
After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email.
This confirmation means I have received your order. It does not mean the order has been accepted if there is an obvious pricing error, stock issue, payment problem, or another issue that prevents fulfilment.
If I cannot fulfil your order, I will contact you and issue a refund where appropriate.
7. Delivery
Orders are shipped using tracked postal or courier services where available.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination, customs clearance, local postal services, courier delays, busy periods, and other circumstances outside my control.
Estimated delivery times are usually:
- UK: 7 working days
- Europe: 7-21 working days
- USA: usually 7–21 working days
- Rest of the world: usually 7–45 working days
These are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless specifically agreed in writing.
Each parcel is normally provided with a tracking code where the selected shipping service includes tracking.
If your order is delayed, please contact me and I will investigate with the postal service or courier.
8. Delivery responsibility and lost parcels
I am responsible for the parcel until it is delivered to the delivery address provided at checkout, or to another delivery location agreed by the customer.
Once the parcel has been delivered to the agreed address, safe place, neighbour, collection point, or other agreed location, responsibility passes to the customer.
If a parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact me as soon as possible. I will investigate with the postal service or courier and will work with you to find a fair solution.
Please make sure the delivery address entered at checkout is correct. I am not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If a parcel is returned because it was not collected, refused, or the address was incorrect or incomplete, the customer may need to pay the cost of re-shipping.
9. Customs, import duties and taxes
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, taxes, handling fees, or other charges applied by their country.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping price unless clearly stated.
Customs delays are outside my control.
If you have questions about the customs declaration for your order, please contact me before ordering.
10. Returns and cancellation
For most online orders, you have 14 days from the day you receive your item to tell me that you would like to cancel or return it. You then have another 14 days to send the item back.
To request a return, please email:
Please include your order number, your name, and the reason for the return.
Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with any included accessories or packaging where possible.
The customer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order items cannot usually be returned or cancelled once production has started, unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
11. Refunds
Once I receive the returned item, I will inspect it and process any refund due.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.
If you cancel an eligible order within the cancellation period, I will refund the item cost and the standard outbound delivery cost. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, only the standard delivery amount will be refunded.
Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
I may reduce the refund if the item has been handled more than necessary, used, damaged, or returned in a condition that reduces its value.
12. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact me as soon as possible at:
Please include your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, I will offer a suitable solution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.
The customer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
13. Product use
Pinhole cameras and accessories are experimental photographic tools. Results may vary depending on film, paper, exposure, processing, scanning, light conditions, user technique, and other creative variables.
Some variation, softness, vignetting, light fall-off, or experimental behaviour may be part of the pinhole photography process and not a product fault.
Customers are responsible for using products carefully and appropriately.

I try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date. However, I cannot guarantee that all descriptions, images, prices, stock levels, or other content will always be completely free from errors.
If I discover an error in relation to your order, I will contact you as soon as possible.

You must not submit anything illegal, abusive, defamatory, misleading, spam-like, or infringing someone else’s rights.
I reserve the right to remove or refuse to publish user-submitted content.
If you send photographs or feedback and I would like to use them for promotional purposes, I will ask for permission where appropriate.
17. Privacy
Your privacy matters.
Please read the Privacy Policy on this website to understand how your personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected.
Personal information is used only where necessary, for example to process orders, communicate with customers, arrange delivery, manage payments, and meet legal or tax obligations.
18. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory rights.
MIA Pinhole Cameras is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
19. Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The version published on this website at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
