MIA 6×12 anamorphic

Not a conventional camera—and that is exactly the point.

The MIA 6×12 Anamorphic uses a curved film plane to create images that stretch and wrap the world around you. Straight lines bend, perspectives shift and familiar scenes become something entirely different.

Composition with an anamorphic pinhole can be challenging, but view lines embossed on the sides of the camera help you understand what will be included in the frame. It rewards experimentation, making every exposure an opportunity to create something unexpected.

Three standard 1/4″ tripod threads on the base offer different mounting positions, while double winding knobs make intentional double exposures easy to manage. A dedicated pressure device keeps the film tight and correctly positioned while the camera is being loaded.

The rear frame counter can be fitted with either a red or yellow gel. The choice of colour helps improve the visibility of the frame numbers printed on the film’s backing paper.
